Costs and Logistics

On average, people pay $17,000 in taxes each year, 6% of which goes to fund road maintenance. This means that $1000 per person is used toward road maintenance. The IRS processes 165,000,000 peoples’ taxes each year, resulting in around 165 billion dollars that are used to fund road maintenance (paving, building, roadkill cleaning, line painting ,etc).

The amount of paint on road lines is 1.33 gallons of paint per 100 square feet. It currently costs around $0.05 per square foot to paint lines on roads, meaning that 100 square feet will costs $5. This also means that for 1.33 gallons of paint, it costs $5 (so 1 gallon costs $3.76). Approximately 400 million gallons of white and yellow paint are used to line the roads in America annually, costing nearly 1.5 billion dollars to paint roads.

8 billion dollars of taxpayer money are used to clean roadkill off of roads and another 1 billion dollars are used to aid people that are involved in deer induced crashes. These costs, in addition to the 1.5 billion dollar costs to paint roads, create a total of 10.5 billion dollars of taxpayer money spent.

The gallon ratio of AntlerArmour to original paint is 1:3 because of how pungent the smell is, meaning that instead of 400 million gallons of white and yellow paint, only 300 million gallons are needed and it will be mixed with 100 million gallons of AntlerArmour.

The production and shipping cost of AntlerArmour is $11.95 per gallon (1.2 billion dollars) and will be sold to governments annually for $39.80 per gallon (3.98 billion dollars), returning a $27.85 per gallon profit (2.79 billion dollars before reductions). This will now cost governments 1.1 billion dollars for the original white and yellow paint and 3.98 billion dollars for AntlerArmour for a total of 5 billion dollars in taxpayer money used to paint roads, clean roadkill, and aid in deer induced collisions. The amount of money used to clean roadkill and aid in collisions is not considered in the total calculation anymore because AntlerArmour has made them so insignificant, that the expenditures for them should not have an impact large enough to affect the overall cost.

With AntlerArmour, the original cost of 10.5 billion dollars for collision repairs, paint lines, and roadkill cleaning will now costs 5 billion dollars. This 48% decrease in road maintenance costs, means that the average taxpayer will pay significantly less money when filing taxes!

Money spent on road maintenance per person was $1000 (48% reduction means 480 less dollars per person) of the 17000 total taxpayer dollars, which means that there is a total of 3% in overall tax reduction per person. Although this percentage may seem insignificant, overall it reduces the 165 billion dollar cost to 159.5 billion, giving back 5.5 billlion dollars to taxpayers.

As production continues, the price of AntlerArmour will likely decrease, lowering taxes even more.
