Pennsylvania consistently ranks as one of the highest states for animal strikes, a high percentage of which are deer strikes. Deer strikes in particular are deadly for the animal and all too often the person involved; they are gruesome, and they are costly to insurance companies, the victims, and the Commonwealth itself. As a seasoned driver, I know this all too well, and have see the impacts of deer strikes on the major roadways I take when traveling to Girls of Steel, an all female robotics team that I was a part of for 8 years. Personal experience in both engineering and the risks of deer strikes went hand in hand with my natural creativity, and AntlerArmour was born.
